Bruises and bumps are frequent injuries, in adults as well as children. Even if they are not serious, these little booboos can nevertheless be painful. Having good products in your first aid kit may turn out to be very useful for quick and effective pain relief and to care of bruises or hematoma of the skin.
Very useful for effectively soothing bruises (but also tendonitis, dislocations...): cold spray. The cold diffused has an anaesthetic and soothing effect: it slows down edema, reduces the risk of bruising, and limits swelling.
Arnica, a mountain flower with yellowy-orange petals, is also an effective solution. It is present (7%) in the formula of Arnican gel. Applied onto the painful area, this gel calms the pain and facilitates the healing of the bump or bruise.
