Because infants cannot blow their noses alone, a baby nasal pump can be useful to clear their nose of secretion. Electric or manual pumps, mouth aspirators, with or without a mouthpiece... There are several differernt options for clearing baby's nose. If you choose a pear-shaped manual nasal pump, you will first need to inset saline solution into baby's nostril, then empty the air from the pump and insert the disposable or sterilisible nozzle, before releasing the pump.
If you choose a mouth aspirator nasal pump, you also need to insert physiological serum into baby's nose, then delicately insert the nasal nozzle into baby's nostril, and finally breath into the mouthpiece, controlling the intensity of your breathing.
Finally, electrinic nasal pumps have an electronic aspiration system. All you need to do is insert the nozzle into baby's nostril and operate the pump. The aspiration will stop automatically.
Whichever model you choose, you must always refer to the user manual and carefully wash each element of the nasal pump after use.
